ABOUT THE GAME

Bata: Way of the Irish Stick is a single player 3rd person action brawler set in 1850's New York City. The combat is based on the ancient martial art of Irish Stick Fighting using a shillelagh. Bata will be released in 2024 on PC and Xbox.

Founded in 2023, Blackthorn Game Studios, LLC is a video game studio based near Redmond, Washington. Bata: Way of the Irish Stick is our first title under this studio name.
